I had the great fortune of not only studying at some of the world's most renowned educational institutions, including Oxford and Harvard, but also working with and for some of the world's brightest minds and boldest wealth creators in Europe, Asia and the Middle East.
In Dubai I was one of several advisors selected to work on the realization Sheik Mohammed's vision on transforming one specific economic sector and the overall economy of his emirate. I then went on to work on projects mandated by Sheikh Abdullah of Qatar, Sultan Hassanal of Brunei and a long list of global corporations.
My greatest inspiration comes from my former boss, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, ruler of Dubai. Working in Dubai, during the early stages of its transformation, helped me to deeply understand how the interaction of cultural, social, mental and emotional processes enable, constrain and shape economic and life outcomes.
His commitment to developing his nation by spreading knowledge, is a very evident source of inspiration in the work that I do today as a nation builder and economist: I am making wealth inclusive by deliberately making lifechanging knowledge of and insights on -every aspect of wealth- accessible, understandable and applicable for common folk.
I am distributing knowledge. I am developing nations.
'Reading, and the spread of knowledge, are key to the development and progress of nations.'

Rule of Dubai
I have always been driven by a deep quest to understand what both poverty and wealth are a result of. As a child I often wondered what made some nations rich, and others extremely poor. And I equally held a curiosity to uncover what made some people achieve great things, and what made others experience continued poverty of choice.
My curiosity led to the pursuit of a study in economics and a never-ending obsession with the fields of neuroscience, anthropology and personal mastery.
Why?
Because I am deeply interested in understanding all dimensions of greatness.

FINANCIAL THERAPY
Empowering everyday people to create better financial outcomes, cannot solely be achieved through improved financial literacy.
For deep, impactful and true transformation to occur, one must go deeper and fully reconfigure their relationship with money.

I certified as a financial therapist, so that I can go beyond empowering people with financial knowledge.
As a financial therapist, I help people identify, address and resolve the emotions, habits, behaviors and perspectives that govern one's relationship with money, so that they can make better financial decisions.
'Change is inevitable, but transformation is by conscious choice.'

PERSONAL INTERESTS
It is often said that a good archer is known not by her arrows, but by her aim.

I have been an avid archer for decades. When people ask me why I love archery so much, I often say that archery is like my own life's journey: It began with a love for shooting a bow and led to a passion for watching arrows fly.

Archery has taught me to follow my arrow where it points. To not look back to my last arrow, because only the next one counts.
Archery also taught me that you only hit what you aim at. That one should not draw one's bow till your arrow is fixed. And, that often times we need to be pulled back to propel forward.

Besides archery, you will often find me in the kitchen cooking up delectable food with a glass of wine in my hands whilst listening to music. Nothing makes me happier than hosting some friends and family, sharing food, good wine and an in-depth conversation.
